Pansy 'Universal Plus'

Universal winter pansies

The classic 'winter' pansy flowering in autumn, mild spells in winter and then prolifically in spring from a summer sowing. Often upgraded in the many years since its original introduction, 'Universal Plus' now comes in a mixture of nineteen colours, various colour-themed mixtures of colours selected from the full range and all the colours are also available separately.

Type: Best treated as a hardy biennial and sown in summer for autumn, winter and spring flowers; can also be sown in spring and treated as a half-hardy annual for summer flowering.
Height: 6-8in/15-20cm
Season: Autumn, spring and summer plus mild spells in winter.
Situation: Good in tubs and window boxes and excellent in bedding with dwarf tulips; enjoys sun or partial shade.
